Radiation oncologist needed in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

We are looking for a BC/BE radiation oncologist to join a well-established, thriving practice in coastal, southern Delaware.  Our main practice is located in Rehoboth Beach with a second, satellite location 30 minutes away in Millville.

Our practice is integrated into the full-service, ACS certified cancer center of a well-supported community hospital.  Medical oncology and surgical oncology offices are located in the same building.  The cancer center is committed to multidisciplinary care and collaborative group clinical trial enrollment. Comprehensive services provided include: General, breast, thoracic, and urology tumor conferences with CME, tumor registry, nurse navigators, cancer care coordinators, in-house dietician, genetic counseling, social services, survivorship, palliative care, and CAM medicine services.  

Our technology is Varian-based with 2 TrueBeam and 1 Trilogy. Our staff includes 1 RN per physician, 2-3 RTTs per linac, 3 dosimetrists, and 3 excellent in-house physicists.  

The ideal candidate needs to be BC/BE and have an interest in progressing our community-based oncology program through both clinical excellence and outreach. This is a partnership opportunity.  New graduates are welcome. There is limited regional competition.

Coastal, southern Delaware is a diverse and growing resort community with an abundance of natural beauty, outdoor activities, restaurants, and culture. We are located 2 hours from Philadelphia and Baltimore, 2.5 hours from DC, and 3.5 hours to New York City.  The area has some of the best schools in the state.
