Cancer Care of Western New York is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join their dynamic team in Western New York. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive radiation therapy services, participating in multidisciplinary cancer conferences, and contributing to the overall excellence of the oncology program. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide expert diagnosis, staging, and treatment planning for cancer patients requiring radiation therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing advanced radiation techniques (e.g., IMRT, SBRT, Brachytherapy, etc., customize based on available tech).
• Oversee patient care throughout the course of treatment, including daily rounds, symptom management, and follow-up.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including medical oncologists, surgeons, physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and support staff.
• Participate in tumor boards and other clinical conferences to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of the latest advancements in radiation oncology.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold the highest standards of patient safety.
