Radiation Therapist Position Summary for TidalHealth-Peninsula Regional Radiation Oncology
Under the general supervision of the Radiation Oncology Director, the Radiation Therapist performs a variety of technical procedures in order to apply ionizing radiation for tumor localization radiography and apply therapeutic doses of radiation for the treatment of disease or injury. The inventory, distribution/delivery of medications may be required.
Requirements
Radiation Therapist Position Requirements
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) in Radiation Therapy(T) (or worked as a Radiation Therapist for a minimum of 25 years)
- Licensed by the State of Maryland as a Radiation Therapist.
- Current CPR Certification.
