Sinai Hospital is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic and growing oncology team in Baltimore, Maryland. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the grand opening of the new Mandy & Dennis Weinman Cancer Center, a state-of-the-art, patient-centered facility featuring cutting-edge technology and seamless access to comprehensive cancer care services.
Position Summary
The Radiation Therapist will play a vital role in delivering high-quality radiation therapy and compassionate patient care. This position requires proficiency in technical procedures, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of radiation safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT simulation procedures accurately and efficiently
- Deliver all prescribed radiation therapy treatments in a timely manner
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety standards and protocols
- Manage patient care throughout treatment, including scheduling, coordination, and follow-up
- Serve as the primary liaison between patients and the radiation oncology team
- Communicate effectively with physicians, physicists, nurses, and support staff
- Troubleshoot and assist with workflow adjustments during machine downtime
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a clinical oncology setting

Requirements
Requirements:
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program.
Licenses & Certification:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
- Radiation Therapist License: Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage patient flow during treatment and communicate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency with radiation therapy equipment and treatment planning systems.
- Ability to perform all safety procedures associated with radiation therapy and patient care.
