Description

We are seeking a full time Center Manager to work in our Northern MN market.  This role is accountable for all operational and sales aspects of the Grand Rapids and Deer River centers, which includes planning, staff management, budget management, and increasing the Company's volume and market share through sales and marketing. Responsible for meeting the quality, volume, and operational goals for the center(s). This position is fulltime, Monday - Friday. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

(30%) Center Operations

  • Plans, organizes, develops, implements and interprets the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc. necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation
  • Develops and manages the budget for the center(s) and makes responsible financial decisions for the centers
  • Manages accounts payable, payroll and associate timecards
  • Manages and trains staff on cash collection process at the center level
  • Works closely with revenue cycle management team on billing issues or corrections
  • Evaluates current processes to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives
  • Monitors performance and profitability of services offered
  • Provides ongoing and timely communication to management and staff regarding center performance, staff performance, events, issues, etc.
  • Maintains positive interactions at all times with payors, referring offices, patients, staff, Radiologists, and hospital partner (if applicable)
  • Interfaces with Medical Director, Market Leader, and all technical and administrative staff to ensure effective teamwork and efficient center operations
  • Administers quality programs and meets or exceeds key quality and productivity measures in patient service, customer (referral) service, clinical programs, administrative functions, and service recovery
  • Maintains a safe environment for patients, technologists, radiologists and any other center associates with the assistance of the center safety coordinator
  • Responsible for securing and maintaining ACR accreditation and overseeing ACR toolbox
  • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of and following applicable state laws regarding radiation safety and government licensing
  • Assist with Technologist duties
  • Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines

(30%) Deliver Territory and Market Volume/Sales Objectives

  • Identifies, develops and executes on new sales opportunities within territory, market and zone, including new customer segments, new products and service lines, new accounts, etc.
  • Partners with radiologists to market existing and new product lines (clinical services), to new and existing clients
  • Delivers and/or coordinates educational presentations to existing and prospective clients on emerging applications offered by the Company
  • Conducts and/or coordinates educational and marketing seminars at local and national trade shows
  • Facilitates and participates in monthly sales and marketing conference call with corporate marketing
  • Proactively partners with Marketing department on development and implementation of sales strategies for market and zone initiatives
  • Maintains productive relationships with customer base in defined market and zone through delivery of extraordinary customer service and support
  • Documents and maintains all customer contact/activity and information in customer relationship management system as well as in related internal information systems
  • Assists in sales, negotiations, and implementation of the payor contracting processes
  • Monitors payor referral activity

(25%) Staff Management

  • Leads regular staff meetings and associate one-on-one discussions
  • Participates in staff performance evaluations, compensation recommendations and development of associates including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and/or termination of associates
  • Oversees and assists in training of new associates and supervisors, providing resource and technical expertise
  • Supports and conducts training efforts for continuing education for the technologists and nurses
  • Ensures all technologists are compliant with CEU credits, in good standing with appropriate registries, updated with CPR credits, etc.
  • Interfaces with Radiologists to create and maintain up-to-date protocol manuals for all modalities
  • Maintains staff retention by implementing effective retention strategies
  • Ensures appropriate physician coverage for all contrast and sedation studies
  • Implements strategies to promote teamwork within the center and with other associates including management and radiologists

(10%) Target Market Research & Sales Strategy

  • Conducts on-going market research to identify new opportunities, applications and trends
  • Identifies key strategic customers for business development opportunities and works with Market Leader to grow our relationships and market through these activities
  • Provides management with market intelligence and competitive analysis reports
  • Partners with Sales Leadership to identify, develop and implement zone- and nation-wide initiatives, products, service lines and projects

(5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned



Requirements

Required:

  • Associate's degree
  • Minimum 5 years operations and/ or sales experience in a health care setting, preferably in the diagnostic imaging area
  • Minimum 3 years of management and supervisory experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years of spreadsheet software usage, Excel preferred
  • RT Certification
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Registered MRI Technologist
