The University of Michigan Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our growing academic faculty as a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor. This full-time faculty appointment is based at our Trinity - Lacks Cancer Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, offering the opportunity to build an outstanding clinical and academic career while practicing in one of the Midwest's most vibrant communities.
You'll join a highly collaborative multidisciplinary oncology team dedicated to exceptional, patient-centered cancer care. Disease site focus is flexible, based on departmental needs and your own interests and expertise.

Requirements
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiation Oncology residency program
- Board certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology (ABR or equivalent)
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Michigan
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive radiation oncology care in a multidisciplinary environment
- Participate in tumor boards, departmental conferences, chart rounds, and collaborative treatment planning
- Educate and mentor residents, medical students, and other trainees through clinical rotations, didactics, and mentorship
- Utilize advanced treatment technologies, including:
Multimodality imaging for treatment planning (PET/CT, MRI, 4D CT)
Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS)
Stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT)
Brachytherapy
Candidates with special interest and/or expertise in brachytherapy are encouraged to apply although the position can be additionally sculpted to meet the career goals and interests of the candidate.
