Breast Surgical Oncologist – Newport Beach & Laguna Hills, California
Base Salary Range*: $425,000 to $458,000
*The salary range above is an estimated annual base salary for a full-time position. Your Total Rewards would include a base salary plus performance-based compensation (productivity and value-based incentives). Our compensation models utilize fair market value data specific to your specialty.
MemorialCare Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Breast Surgical Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary breast surgery program at MemorialCare Cancer Institute. This full-time employed opportunity offers a collaborative practice environment with comprehensive support services and strong referral relationships throughout the MemorialCare network. The physician will provide care in Newport Beach and Laguna Hills and will work closely with specialists in medical oncology, radiation oncology, breast imaging, and reconstructive surgery at Orange Coast Medical Center and at Saddleback Medical Center.
Practice Highlights
- Dedicated breast surgery practice with a focus on both breast oncology and benign breast disease
- Collaborative, integrated care model with multidisciplinary specialists across the MemorialCare cancer program
- Perform surgeries at Orange Coast Medical Center and Saddleback Medical Center as well as MemorialCare’s ambulatory surgery center with access to advanced surgical and imaging technologies
- Participate in weekly breast tumor board conferences and coordinated treatment planning
- Access MemorialCare's extensive physician network and support services
- Dedicated clinical and operational support designed to enhance physician efficiency and patient experience

Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure
- DEA
- Demonstrated commitment to multidisciplinary breast cancer care
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
- Epic EMR experience is a plus
Practice Locations
This position will provide care in Newport Beach and Laguna Hills, California, serving patients throughout Orange County. The communities offer outstanding coastal living, excellent schools, year-round outdoor recreation, and convenient access to Southern California's beaches, cultural attractions, and major transportation hubs.
