- Mid-Atlantic Radiation Oncologist
Description
Radiation Oncologists, PA is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified radiation oncologist to join our physician-owned private practice in northern Delaware and southern Pennsylvania. Our group currently includes 9 radiation oncologists and 3 nurse practitioners, and we are hoping to add an additional physician given ongoing growth and expansion. We are particularly interested in hiring a physician with willingness to learn prostate brachytherapy, as we have a robust PSI program that we hope to continue to nurture and grow.
Our practice has an exclusive arrangement with the largest healthcare system in Delaware, allowing us the autonomy and flexibility that comes with private practice and the stability and resources that come from being part of a large healthcare system. Each of our physicians is sub-specialized and our practice encourages and supports participation in cooperative groups and other academic endeavors for those who are interested. We have an equitable, rotating call schedule and ample vacation time. Other benefits include 401(k) and profit sharing and all expected health and malpractice coverage in addition to partnership eligibility.
Our program currently operates 2 dedicated CT simulators, Cyberknife, Ethos and 6 additional linear accelerators. We have robust LDR and HDR brachytherapy practices and a strong NCORP research infrastructure. We have 10 medical dosimetrists, 9 medical physicists and 12 nurses supporting our radiation oncology program. Our cancer program is truly comprehensive, with robust medical oncology, surgical subspecialties, inpatient and outpatient palliative care, nurse navigation and the full compliment of allied health care professionals.
