Description
The Department of Radiation Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public seeking a radiation oncologist for a clinical health sciences-track (non-tenure) faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level for a clinical practice that will be provided at University Hospital, Eastpark Medical Center and the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans' Hospital. Areas of clinical focus may include breast cancer, genitourinary malignancies, and/or tumors of the central nervous system. Approximately 50% of clinical activity will be provided at the VA Hospital in Madison (physically connected to University Hospital). Protected time and support will be afforded for academic activities that may include clinical and translational research and education/mentorship of residents and students.
Requirements
Completion of residency training in Radiation Oncology and Board certification (or expected within 2 years of hiring). Applicants must be able to obtain licensure as a physician in Wisconsin without restriction.
