Job Title: Radiation Oncologist
Location: Western New York

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our dynamic team in Western New York. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive radiation therapy services, participating in multidisciplinary cancer conferences, and contributing to the overall excellence of our oncology program.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert diagnosis, staging, and treatment planning for cancer patients requiring radiation therapy.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing advanced radiation techniques (e.g., IMRT, SBRT, Brachytherapy, etc., customize based on available tech).
Oversee patient care throughout the course of treatment, including daily rounds, symptom management, and follow-up.
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including medical oncologists, surgeons, physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and support staff.
Participate in tumor boards and other clinical conferences to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of the latest advancements in radiation oncology.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold the highest standards of patient safety.
Potentially engage in clinical research or teaching opportunities, if desired.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Radiation Oncology.
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology.
Valid medical license in the State of New York or eligibility to obtain.
DEA registration.
Strong commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills.
