Description
OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital is hiring a full-time registered Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology department. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. This is a large and busy Radiation Oncology department located in two locations within the hospital working with both inpatients and outpatients. This department requires a therapist to be on call for add on or urgent cases, with call being rotated on a weekly basis among the 11 therapists. The department consists of three Linear Accelerators and two CTs. They also provide High Dose Rate Brachytherapy in the department.
The Radiation Therapist delivers radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. He/She prepares patients for a course of Radiation Therapy inclusive of simulation, dose calculations and acquiring of treatment parameters.
OhioHealth offers a comprehensive benefits package with benefits eligibility on day one of employment. We are currently offering a $25,000 sign-on bonus for this position, which requires a one-year work commitment. The bonus is paid in the first paycheck.
