Allina Health Cancer Institute (AHCI) is seeking a board certified Thoracic Oncologic Surgeon to join our growing practice in the Twin Cities.
Practice Details:
- Our Thoracic Surgery Division is part of the department of Surgical Oncology comprised of Thoracic oncology, Surgical oncology, Urologic oncology and Hepatobiliary divisions. The practice covers all aspects of Thoracic Surgery including benign and malignant conditions of the lungs, mediastinum, pleural space, chest wall.
- The thoracic surgery team consists of 3 thoracic surgeons 3 PA’s, a clinic RN, a thoracic nurse navigator and a provider coordinator.
- Practice calendar includes 2 days in clinic, 2 days in surgery and procedures with 5th day flex for combination of admin time and overflow surgery/procedures.
- Work within a state-of-the-art surgical and oncology environment with access to da Vinci robotic-assisted technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support documentation and workflow efficiency, and to enhance cancer diagnosis and treatment support.
- Weekly multi-disciplinary tumor board meetings.
Requirements:
- Board certified/ board eligible in thoracic surgery required.
- Prefer 3+ years of experience in Thoracic Surgery, Bronchoscopy, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), ION Navigation Bronchoscopy (or willingness to train if no experience), Da Vinci Robotic Surgical Experience or minimum of VATS experience, lung nodule management

Pay Range
Pay Range: $595,000 to $625,000 per year
