Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Oncology RN with 2-3 years of experience and Epic EMR proficiency for a 13-week outpatient travel assignment in South Carolina.
Details
- Outpatient Radiation Oncology clinic setting
- Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00–15:30 or 7:30–16:00)
- No weekend, on-call, or float requirements
- Uses Epic EMR; experience required
- A radiation badge is required for this position
Requirements
- Active SC RN license or multi-state compact RN license required; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered but must have an active SC license prior to start
- AHA BLS certification required
- AHA certifications only accepted
- 2–3 years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Oncology and outpatient clinic experience highly preferred
- Chemo certification or similar credential preferred
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- License required if applicable
- Online orientation modules must be completed prior to the assignment start date
- First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience
- Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) may be considered on a case-by-case basis; non-local candidates are prioritized
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
- During hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
